BIOGRAPHY Musicians like a great wine, only get better with age. Ha! What a bunch of crap. Musicians usually lose their voices or chops, look (and feel) 20 years older than they really are and are burned out from partying too hard in their younger years. But there are exceptions and that’s where 64 Crayons comes into play. And play they do! 64 Crayons Band is a Richmond, VA based acoustic band known for their wall of vocals, fresh arrangements of classic rock and blue-eyed soul and their laid-back entertaining style. Each of the band members are veterans of various successful national and regional bands and hundreds of music projects. Their music style ranges from rock, to soul, to country and adult-contemporary. Their first release was engineered and produced by Jody Boyd at Red Amp Audio. Marna assisted with arranging and producing the songs. In 2019, after mixing 8 of the songs, Jody and Marna journeyed to London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios to oversee the mastering of the album by Miles Showell, the same individual credited with remastering the Beatles catalog. Now that’s a bucket list item for any musician! MEMBER HIGHLIGHTS Marna Bales
